provide convincing evidence of the authenticity of The Shroud of

WHAT IMPACT WILL THIS HAVE?
In just 3-years, we have the opportunity to connect
with over 600,000 visitors bringing them into a transformative
experience on the Christ Cathedral campus. The real
measurement will be defined by those who were impacted by
the exhibit and will join us in heaven!
WHEN AND WHERE?
The exhibit will open in the Spring 2025. It will be located on the second floor of the Christ Cathedral Cultural Center designed by architect Richard Meier (who then similarly designed the Getty Center Museum in L.A.).
Open 7 days a week - 8 hours per day
Timed ticketing - 75 people per hour
$20 ticket with free parking
Families of 4 or more $75 with free parking
Student groups $5 per child
WHAT WILL IT COST?
We believe to do this at a world-class level that matches and goes beyond other local museums and theme parks it will require $3.5 million for build-out and immersive content development. We have two exisiting advantages; a museum-quality building and the opportunity to purchase pieces from an existing exhibit from the Vatican’s Regina Apostolorum in Rome.
Once the museum is built out, it will become self-sustaining and our goal is that it will then generate profit for the diocese.
WHO IS BEHIND THIS?
This is a unique partnership between The Diocese of Orange, The Shroud Center of Southern California, and Pontifical University, Regina Apostolorum in Rome along with international Shroud experts: Fr. Robert Spitizer, SJ, Fr. Andrew Dalton, LC STD, and Emanuela Marinelli.
